Welcome to the ASPIRA of Massachusetts Website

More than fifty years after Brown, national and state data reveal that the battle for educational equity is yet to be won. To further the quest for educational fairness, ensure that publicly financed educational opportunities are afforded on equal terms to Latino and all low-income students in the Southbridge School district in Massachusetts (and beyond), promote better outcomes and advocate for excellence in education, Citizens for Latino Educational Excellence (CLEE), a grassroots community-focused group, has became an ASPIRA affiliate in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The new ASPIRA of Massachusetts affiliate will be dedicated to promoting the development of the Massachusetts Latino community through advocacy and the education and leadership development of its youth. ASPIRA of Massachusetts will be raising awareness, advocacy for, and pursuing effective strategies to build youth leadership and improve academic achievement for all students, particularly Latino youth
